About Us

SW Financial Concepts ownership is a husband-and-wife team, based in Prescott, Arizona. The company serves Northern Arizona as well as Phoenix metro.

In 1978, Dave moved to Arizona after graduation from college in Michigan. Terri’s family moved to Arizona from Seattle in 1999. She was born in Texas and grew up outside of Dallas, making her a die-hard Cowboys fan. Dave operates the company, while Terri is a 6^th grade teacher in the Prescott school district.

Dave’s Arizona legacy began by owning and operating specialty retail stores in the Valley, many of them sporting goods.  He really cut his teeth on taking care of customer needs! That lead to successful management positions with national brands like Merrell, Columbia Sportswear, adidas and Uggs. Dave re-focused himself to the financial services industry in 2020. Motivated by a poor customer service experience from his own insurance agent, he felt clients would be helped by being more educated in making important decisions about their financial future. Empowering his clients with knowledge naturally leads to the creation a successful financial path.

Dave and Terri have 5 children, 6 grandchildren and 5 grand dogs.  They are active in the community. Dave is a volunteer ambassador for the Prescott Chamber of Commerce, active with the Alzheimer’s Association and uses his experience from owning and operating specialty retail by volunteering with SCORE as a certified mentor.
